Yesterday afternoon's scores at the Gun Club shoot were as follows: Founder's Cup, Pike, Cowing, Sterling, 14; Steadman, 13; Sargent, Byrd, 11; Merriam, 7. Cowing won the tie with 24 out of 25 birds. The final scores in the novice match were: Cowing 10, Sterling 9, Byrd 7. Cowing thus won first, with Sterling second, their total scores being 18 and 17 respectively. Match D, for 3 scores of 15 birds each was started. The scores were: Pike 14, Sterling 14, Sargent 12, Steadman 12, Byrd 9, Merriam 9.
