Hon. John E. Russell will address the College Conference at 7.30 tomorrow evening, in Sever 11, on the subject, "American Political Campaigns." The fact that two weeks ago Mr. Russell's opponent in the political debate held in Boston, last fall, Hon. Henry Cabot Lodge, addressed the Conference, will give a special interest to the lecture tomorrow evening. Mr. Russell was elected Secretary of the State Board of Agriculture in 1880, and was re-elected five times. In 1886 he was chosen Representative to the Fiftieth Congress from the Tenth District of Massachusetts. He is a ready speaker and has long been known in Massachusetts as one of the most prominent political leaders. He is, therefore, eminently fitted to present the subject in hand.
