At the meeting held in Captain Trafford's room last Thursday quite a large number of men signified their intention of joining the spring foot ball squad and several have added their names since then. Among the names will be found several of this year's eleven and a good many members of the class teams, together with some new material. Work on the field will be commenced Monday at 4 p. m. and every day from then till the Easter recess, except Saturdays, regular out-door practice will be carried on. The work is to be undertaken much more seriously than last year and it is believed that the time may be very profitably spent. At this early stage there is an especially good opportunity for men who have played foot ball very little or none at all, to begin to get an understanding of it.
Following is a list of the men who have so far signed: E. J. Lake '92, R. W. Emmons '95, W. C. Mackie '94, W. B. Gage '94, H. Oppenheim L. S., S. V. R. Thayer '94, C. M. Draper '93, C. Merriam '93, G. B. Pierce '93, W, Olney Gr., S. P. Hall '93, A. B. Copp L. S., S. Berry L. S. S., N. T. Robb '93, A. P. Teele '95, W. Hoag '94, W. L. Sanborn '93, C. D. Jackson '94, W. Cary '93, C. S. Pierce 95, S. M. Brice '93, W. B. McDonald '94, C. S. Barrell L. S. S., J. D. Gost '95, R. B. Beals '94, C. W. Purington '93, D. Gray '92, D. Blagden '93, S. Borden '94, G. Collamore '93, F. W. All men wishing to join the squad, whether they have played or not, are urged to see Captain Trafford right away at his room, 5 Mathews.
