The Yale News announces that the managements of the Yale and Princeton base ball teams have arranged dates for a series as follows: May 21, at New Haven; and June 11, at Princeton. If a third game is necessary, it will be played in New York at a date to be agreed upon later. The News also states that the games arranged for the Easter trip will probably have to be cancelled, as the season of the National League begins on April 15, this year. The trip, as arranged, begins on April 13 and ends on April 20. Games were arranged with New York on the 13th and 19th, with Philadelphia on the 14th, with Baltimore on the 15th, with Washington on the 16th, and with Brooklyn on the 20th. Four of these games come after the opening of the League season. The Baltimores have already cancelled the date arranged with them, and similar messages will undoubtedly soon be received from the other teams. This will leave the New York and Philadelphia games of the thirteenth and fourteenth, and the University of Pennsylvania game of the eighteenth still practicable, and four other games will have to be arranged to complete the schedule of the trip.
