A special meeting of the Board of Overseers was held yesterday morning at No. 50 State Street, Boston. Solomon Lincoln was in the chair. The Board took action on a number of appointments and voted to approve the following elections which have been made by the President and Fellows of the University: William Gray, Henry Lee and William Sturgis Bigelow, trustees of the Museum of Fine Arts for a period of one year from January 1, 1892; Lester Howard, D. V. S., clinical lecturer for the rest of the current school year and Reginald Heber Fitz, M. D., professor of the theory and practice of medicine.

The appointments of Arthur Everett Healey, A. B., to a proctorship was also approved.
