The finals in the singles in the tennis tournament were concluded on Saturday. Chase '95 and Read '95 were alone left to fight it out for first place. Read won the first set with ease, then Chase braced and took the next two, but weakened and lost the fourth set. In the fifth he showed better form and succeeded in reversing the score of the previous set. The score, 2-6, 6-2, 6-2, 1-6, 6-1.
The following matches will be played in doubles to-day.

At 1-30 - Gosline and Rhodes vs. Coues and Coues. Lyman and Chase vs. Harrison and Endicott.
