Professor Lyon addressed the Y. M. C. A. in their room in the Lawrence Scientific School last night. He took his text from the eleventh chapter of Hebrew, "He endured as seeing Him who is invisible." He said: In our life endurance and strength are what we principally need for success in anything, and a strong sense of His presence is a very great help. A consciousness that we have the greatest power that there is with us, wherever we are, will always help us in our temptations and comfort us in our trials. Our greatest work here is to develope and strengthen our characters and here again we find that to know that we have a strong defence gives us courage just in proportion as we fell His presence.

A short business meeting was held after the service.
