In order that the Harvard Union may secure its ablest talent to represent the society at Yale, the management have decided to have a debate on the evening when the speakers are chosen. This debate will be open to all members of the Union only, and the showing made by the speakers then will largely determine the selection of the candidates. It is understood that Yale is making every effort to be represented by the best speakers available. It is earnestly to be desired that all interested in the matter will be present. That the debate may be somewhat extemporary in its character, its subject will not be announced till Friday morning, the day of the debate. Each speaker will be allowed five minutes.
