Yesterday, while scaling a fence, Captain Perkins caught his toe and was thrown violently to the ground. He received a severe injury to his arm which necessitates carrying it in a sling for several days. This is a serious set-back to the 'varsity crew. At present Powers '92, who has been rowing at two, is stroking the boat. Watriss '92 substitute, rows at two in Powers' place. No care and pains will be spared to heal the injury to Captain Perkins' arm. It is hoped that he will be able to resume his place in the boat within a week.
