Base Ball at Exeter.

Since the engagement of Mack as coach, the baseball prospects at Exeter are considerably brighter and the chances are that this year's nine will be as good if not better than last year's team. Howe '93, Holbrook '91 and Armstrong '93 are the most promising candidates for pitcher. Those for catcher are Hatch '91 and Bissel '91. The most promising men for the other positions are Lighthall '91, first base; Farrel, second base; Brown, short stop; T. T. Thomas '92, third base; Phelan '91, left field; L. F. Kent '92, centre field; and C. F. E. R. Thomas '91, right field. The men on the whole are batting and fielding well.
