Mr. Moses Williams, treasurer of the fund being collected for the building of a new Library Reading Room, has made the following report:
The progress of the fund for the library reading-room at Harvard College is shown by the following statement, viz.:
Subscriptions paid by graduates and their friends, $6,525 30
Subscriptions paid by undergraduates, 1,179 00
Subscriptions promised by graduates and their friends (including that of W. S. Slates, Esq., of Norwich, Conn., for $5,000), 10,340 00
Subscriptions promised by undergraduates, 2,351 00
Total, $20,395 30
