The game on Norton's field yesterday afternoon between Hopkinson and '95 was a disgraceful affair for the freshmen. The rushline was wholly unable to hold their opponents, and the interference was poor. On the other hand, Hopkinson played with a vim and dash and their interference was admirable. Hopkinson started with the ball and in three minutes Brewer scored a touchdown from which Fairchild kicked a goal. '95 lost the ball on four downs, and Stevenson made a touch down. No goal. Just before time was called, a safety added two more to Hopkinson's score. The second half was a repetition of the first. Shea made a touch down by a fine run between tackle and end. No goal. Brewer then made two touch downs from which one goal was kicked. Time was called with the ball in the centre of the field.

The teams lined up as follows:

Hopkinson - Left end, Stevenson; tackle, Watson; guard, Hallowell; centre, Russell; right guard, Shepard; tackle, Shea; end A. Brewer; quarter-back, Paul; right half back, Fairchild; left half-back, Howland; full back, C. Brewer.

Ninety-five - Left end, Adams; tackle, Teele; guard, Eddy; centre, Potter; right guard, Murchie; tackle, Davis; end, Boyden; quarter-back, Whitman; half-backs, McNear and Jackson; full-back, Phelan.
