Technology, '92, defeated the freshmen yesterday by a score of 11 to 9, after worrying through seven painfully stupid innings. The batting was very weak, most of the runs on both sides resulting from errors. Until the fifth inning the freshmen seemed utterly unable to find the ball. In that inning Day got first on catcher's error, stole second, and took third on a wild pitch. Stevens got his base on balls, stole second, and both men came in on Dexter's hit. Dexter scored on catcher's error. In the next inning they made two more runs on errors. Technology did most of her run-getting in the fourth inning on a series of fielding errors, made after two men were out. Altogether, the freshmen played with little life, and showed a disposition to get "rattled" at critieal moments. Stone played his position well, and Highlands pitched a strong game for Technology.
