At a recent meeting of members of the Boston Athletic Association who are interested in rowing, Mr. Frank Peabody, well known in connection with Harvard boating, said he intended to help form crews and would row himself as soon as his health permitted. Among others who signified their intention of rowing were Mr. Goodnough, Mr. F. M. Rogers. Mr. F. R. Peters, Mr. Crehore Mr. Garrett, Mr. E. P. Whitman, and Mr. C. H. Kip. The candidates for the crews will go through a regular course of training. An order for a boat is in the hands of Waters of Troy. Work is progressing on the new boathouse and the committee in charge hopes to have all ready for rowing when the house is finished, Meanwhile the crew will use the Union Boat club house.
