The work on the grounds of the Shooting Club is now finished and everything is in readiness for the first shoot, which will take place next Thursday afternoon. The rapid fire system, adopted last year, will continued to be in use this year. As it enables four men to shoot at once, nobody will be kept waiting long for his turn.
A handicap match will be started next week. It is therefore especially important that all new men should shoot next Thursday afternoon, in order that the handicapping committee may be able to place them. There will in all probability be a fall match with Princeton on the morning of the day of the football game. The team is chosen by picking the five men who have shot regulary and made the five highest averages for the season. Every member of the University who has a gun is invited to try for the team.
