Besides their concerts with the Glee Club, the members of the Banjo Club will give several other concerts this spring. The club is farther advanced than usual at this time of the year and is doing excellent work. Its officers are N. Perkins '98, president; A. H. Higginson '98, secretary; and R. B. Flershem '98, leader. The club dinner for regular members and '97 men who have played on the club will be held at the Thorndike, March 22. More men are on the club now than there have been before and their work is fully up to the standard. The club will give a concert this evening at Watertown, and among others during the spring it will play at the Massachusetts Yacht Club, April 1.
The men now on the club are:
Banjeaurines-N. Perkins '98, E. L. Millard '98, R. B. Flershem '98, J. A. Burnham '99, W. D. Smith '99, E. W. Poor '99, C. S. Cook '99 and P. S. Gill '99.

The Mandolin Club has been handicapped this spring by losing a number of men from the leading parts by the resignation of the '97 members. Then, too, the management has increased the total number with a view to giving a more powerful volume of tone, so that now there are fifteen mandolins and seven guitars. Under these circumstances the progress in the short time the club has been playing has been most satisfactory. The club has been given the use of No. 1 Lawrence Scientific Shool for rehearsals and the benefits from a large room are shown in a great improvement in playing together and in keeping in good time and swing. The club plays at present four pieces: "An dich," by Czbulka; La Terenata, by Tostoi; Bolero, and a medley from "The Geisha," arranged by the leader, V. Burnett '98. The first concert is on April 26 at Jamaica Plain and the indications point to a good club at that date.
The men now playing with the club are:
First Mandolins-V. Burnett '98, P. H. Van Dael '98, G. Maniere 1900, J. W. Piper 1900, R. J. Dunham '99, F. H. Purington '99, E. Euston 1900, H. G. Parchen 1900.
