In the 440 yds. run there were four starters. H. M. Wheelwright took the lead at the 220 mark and finished first in 56 sec. F. Baker spurted down the home stretch, but could not catch Wheel wright. He finished second.
The 120 yards hurdle was won easily by T. Richardson in 19 seconds. W. Hoag was the only other starter.
There were two starters in the mile run, J. O. Nichols and A. R. Whittier. Nichols had the race to himself and finished in 4 min. 52 1-5 sec.
The 880 yards run had two starters. The men kept together for the first lap, then W. M. Cabot drew away and won in 2 min. 21 1-5 sec. C. H. Crane was second.
The running high jump was won by E. B. Bloss, with a jump of 5 ft. 1 3-4 in. B. Wells was second with 5 ft. 1 in. S. Williams, third.
Of the two starters in the 220 yards run, E. C. Ellis won easily in 24 1-5 sec. P. S. Johnson was second.
Owing to an insufficiency of entries, there was no putting the shot, throwing the hammer, or pole vault.
