Amateur Race Meet.

The Harvard University Cycling Association will hold an amateur race meet, open to colleges, schools, and the B. A. A., on Holmes field, Cambridge, Mass., Saturday, Nov. 8, 1890, at 2.30 p. m.

The events are: Half-mile safety, scratch, novice, open to Harvard men only; one mile ordinary, handicap, open; half mile safety, handicap, open; quarter mile ordinary, handicap, open; one mile safety, scratch, interscholastic, open to all preparatory schools; two mile scratch, intercollegiate; one mile safety, handicap, intercollegiate.

Two medals will be given in each event. In the interscholastic race, a silver cup has been presented, to be competed for by the Interscholastic Cycling Association, under rules similar to those which govern the Mott Haven games. The L. A. W. rules will govern. Entries (fee 50 cents for each event) close Saturday, November 1st, at 12 p. m. They should be made to F. L. Olmstead, Jr., 13 Wadsworth House.
