The Chess and Whist Club had a very interesting meeting last evening. Mr Dresel. a well-known chess player and champion of the Boston Chess Club, played several simultaneous games with some of the Harvard players. The following men played with Mr. Dresel: S. M. Ballou '93, H. A. Davis '91, G. B. Wilson '94, F. W. Nicolls '92, and A. N. Broughton '93. Mr. Dresel beat all his opponents after about two hours of playing.
The club also held a business meeting, at which C. J. F. Bruegger '92 and F. Winsor '93 were elected members of the club.
