Challenge Cup for Kicking.

The management of the university even thinks that kicking here at Harvard can be improved. The matter has been talked over with the Boston and New York graduates, and they are of the same opinion. They have generously subscribed money for a challenge cup, valued at $250, to be competed for each fall, for ten years, and finally to go to the man having the best record in that time. The conditions regarding the kicking and the cup will be published later in the season. The cup is open to every member of the University and every afternoon, except Saturday, a squad practices kicking. Any one wishing to try, even if he has never done any kicking before, can obtain instruction and practice at that time by applying to the captain of the eleven.
