Chess and Whist Club.

A meeting of the Chess and Whist Club was held last evening. The following men were elected members: From '89, Dodge, Downes, Hunneman, Lee, McPherson. Newell, Talbot; from '90, Darling, Endicott, Harrison, C. T. Judson, O. B. Judson, Thorndike; from '91, O. F. Black, DeNormandie, Harrison, Mulford. A committee to make arrangements for securing a permanent room for the club. There will be another meeting in about two weeks, at which plans for the tournament will be discussed and more new members elected.
