The following is an editorial taken from the Columbia Spectator:-
"The men who daubed the Library building with green paint, on the night of the triumph, ought to be kicked. It was certainly an act of vandalism. Although the bulk of the paint has been removed, the bricks are defaced and will remain so as long as the building stands Such acts as this will make the faculty shut down on the Triumph altogether, and the sophomores will have to celebrate it elsewhere."
