At the monthly business meeting H. W. Beal '97, L. O. O'Brien '97, one of the Princeton Debaters, and G. L. Patterson 1 L., were elected to membership.

The last regular debate before the recess will be held Friday, Dec. 18, at 7.30 p. m., in Sever 11. The subject is, "Resolved, That the range of lecture hours in Harvard College should be extended by the adoption of a system of evening lectures." The speakers are, for the affirmative, S. Robinson '98 and D. Fales, Jr., '97; for the negative, W. B. Buck '97 and G. R. Stobbs '99. As the subject is one of interest, it is hoped that many members of the University will speak.
