Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
The glee and banjo clubs some time ago asked permission of the committee of the faculty on entertainments for permission to make arrangements for a western tour during the Christmas recess. It was proposed to visit New York, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, St. Louis and Chicago. The committee declined to grant the requested permission except as to New York. Invitations having recently been received from the Harvard Clubs in the above mentioned cities asking that the clubs give concerts under their auspices, it was determined to ask the committee to reconsider its decision. The committee again declined, but expressed a willingness to bring the matter before the faculty. At the meeting of the faculty this afternoon the petitions of the clubs will be presented and final action taken.
