Le Trappeur Club of Montreal will visit this city on February 1st, and give an entertainment under the auspices of the Toboggan Clubs of Boston.
The club will be received by a committee, at 8 a.m., at the Boston & Lowell station, and be escorted to Harvard University, where the forenoon will be passed. After dinner at the Quincy House, the club will be escorted to the Boston Base-ball grounds, where an exhibition of snow-shoe racing will be given. In the evening a concert will be given in Music Hall, at 8 o'clock, consisting of tableaux representing Canadian winter sports, and songs by a chorus of 300 voices. Le Trappeur Club will be dressed in uniform and be accompanied by the Victoria Rifle Band. During the evening some one member of a Boston club will be initiated into Le Trapper Club, which is a very interesting ceremony.
After the concert, at the invitation of the Corey Hill Toboggan Club, special cars will be taken for Brookline, and the club, together with those of the audience who wish, will go to the Corey Hill chutes.
Tickets for the Music Hall, including admission to the ball grounds, can be obtained of the secretaries of the various clubs, at Wright & Ditson's, 580 Washington St., Dame, Stoddard & Kendall's, 474 Washington St., or of the ticket committee.
