The Harvard Overseers met yesterday morning at 70 Water street. They voted to concur with the President and Fellows in their vote repainting Charles Palmary Parker, A. B., tutor in Greek and Latin, for three years from Sept. 1, 1886, and Charles Montraville Green, M. D., Instructor in Obstitrics for the current academic year.
The prayer petitions from the students of the college, the O. K. Society, and the Law School, for voluntary attendance at morning prayers were brought before the board, but no action was taken upon them. The meeting was then adjourned for one week, when the petitions will be considered.
