At a meeting of the board of overseers yesterday, the recent vote of the board, recommending that the quin quennial catalogue be printed in English was re-considered and a motion to have it printed in English was lost by a vote of nine to seven.

The Rev. Dr. A. P. Peabody presented the report of the committee to consider the vote of the president and fetain students at a religious service on the Sabbath, with the recommendation that the board should concur with said vote. The report was accepted and the recommendation was adopted. The Rev. Dr. Peabody presented the following resolution:-

Resolved, That this board recommend the re-establishment of a regular Sunday morning service in the College Chapel.

The reconsideration of this resolution was postponed to the next meeting of the board, which was put for Feb. 18th.
