The fifth annual race meeting of the Harvard bicycle club will be held on the new quarter-mile track on Holmes field on Saturday, May 31.
The following invitation races will be contested ; racing to begin at 3 P. M.
One mile bicycle (scratch.)
Three miles (handicap.)
Five miles (scratch.)
One mile tricycle (scratch.)
There will be three prizes in each event, consisting of gold, silver and bronze medals.
No entree fee will be asked for the invitation races.
The following races, open only to college men, will also be decided :
One mile (scratch.) Open to all college men.
Five miles (scratch.) Harvard vs. Yale championship.
One mile (handicap.) Open to Harvard men only.
There will be two prizes in each event, a gold and a silver medal. Entry fee for each college race, 50 cents.
Entries for college races and answers to invitations to be sent to Mr. F. Winthrop White, 10 Gray's Hall, Cambridge, Mass., up to May 27, 1884.
