Tuesday afternoon was very unfavorable for rolling up high scores, and in consequence of the threatening weather but few men put in an appearance at Watertown. The only match of importance was the cup match, in which the scores were wonderfully good, considering the weather conditions. The summary of this match is as follows :

Cup match ; 20 clay birds, 16 yards rise, thrown at five angles. First, W. L. Slocum, 17 birds ; second, W. L. Allen, 16 ; third, F. B. Austin, 15.

Several other matches were shot in which the scores were very good. The next meeting of the club will be Wednesday, the 14th.
