GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS.

Four scholarships of at least $250 each are to be set apart for graduate students in the academic year 1883-4. These scholarships are to be open to candidates for the degree of Ph. D. who are in need of pecuniary assistance, and who have been in residence at the university throughout the year. The assignment will be made near the close of the academic year. Applications are to be deposited in the dean's box on or before the last Wednesday in May, and will be referred to the committee on the Harris Fellowship and the Royee Scholarship. Voted by the faculty June 5, 1883. C. J. WHITE, Registrar.
