A number of Harvard men contested in the Longwood tournament yesterday, with the following results:
1st round-Warren beat Agassiz, Clark beat Wheelwright, Boardman beat Cobb, Mansfield beat De Wolf, Parsons beat Hastings, Presbrey beat Metcalf, H. B. Pierson beat Mandell, Williams beat Spinney, Taylor beat Smith, E. L. Pierson beat Perkins.
2nd round-Minor beat Warren, Clark beat parsons, Presbrey beat Hodgdon, Taylor beat H. B. Pierson, Tillett beat Williams, Blanchard beat E. L. Pierson.
3rd round-Taylor beat Bond, Presbrey beat Boardman.
Of the forty-nine original entries but seven are left, among them, Taylor, '86, and Presbrey, '85. Play will be resumed at 1 o'clock this afternoon, in both singles and doubles. It is expected the singles will be finished today, and possibly the doubles.
