Last evening the crowd began to assemble in Boylston 1 at 7.10. A large portion of the large audience at Prof. Paine's piano-forte recital last evening were ladies; even the aisles were occupied. The entertainment lasted until 9 o'clock. The following was the general programme: Sonata (D minor)-Beethoven; Farewell-Beethoven; Selections from Schumann; Impromptu-Chopin; Selections-Paine.
