THE HARVARD-YALE RACE.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Yale University Boat Club last evening decided, after listening to a statement from Mr. Bigelow, president of the club, who, with Capt. Hall, went to New London to meet Capt. Hammond and ex-Captain Bancroft concerning what took place at the secret meetings held to arrange the date for the forthcoming race, to sanction the acts of Capt. Hall and Bigelow should they see fit to sign an agreement giving Harvard her day this year, on consideration that Yale shall name the day for the next two years. This about settles it that the race will take place at 11 o'clock Friday, June 30.
