FACT AND RUMOR.

Columbia College has repudiated her lacrosse club.

Wilbur of Rochester will umpire the game tomorrow.

There are over forty men in training for the various running entries.

Only two crews ventured out yesterday - the junior and the 'Varsity.

The society building will be closed today and cannot be used by men in training.

First game of the Harvard and Yale freshmen on the 20th in New Haven.

The order of the crews today, at the start, will be as follows : '84 next to the wall, '83, '82, '85.

The race today is to be rowed under the rules of the National Association of Amateur Oarsmen.

The Co-operative Society has issued a circular descriptive of the aims and organization of the society.

It is reported, on undoubted authority, that the Yale crew is daily rowing over their four-mile course in 20 min. 30 sec.

The Co-operative Society now have the Lampoon Sketches for sale to members at $1.32; also the French play required by freshmen at 29 cents.

If the water is too rough to row today, Mr. Eaton, the referee, will postpone the race until Monday. If the referee is not at the bridge by 7.30 this morning to fix the starting ropes it will be understood that the race is postponed.

The game with Yale today commences at 3 P. M. Admission tickets are 50 cents, reserved seats 25 cents extra - procurable at Bartlett's or at any one of the three windows in the old society building. Season tickets $3.50 - good for the twelve games which are yet to be played in Cambridge.
