John Richards Bullard, Jr., '96, of Ded ham, is captain of the crew and rows at number 7. He prepared for college at Hopkinson's and the English HighSchool. This is his third year in the 'Varsity boat and second as captain. During his Sophomore year he rowed at number 2, but last year he stroked the crew. Captain Bullard is 23 years old, weighs 167 lbs., and is 5 ft. 8 1-2 inches in height.

David Marvin Goodrich, '98, comes from Akron, Ohio, and is stroke of the crew. He graduated from St. Paul's School, where he obtained his first experience in rowing on the Shattuck's. Last year Goodrich was considered the best oar in the Freshman boat where herowed at 7. He is 20 years old, weighs 169 lbs., and is 6 ft. tall.

Albert Aspinwall Sprague, 2d, '97, comes from Chicago and rows at number 6. This is his first year in the 'Varsity boat. He prepared for college at St. Paul's and rowed on the Shattuck crew. During his Freshman year he captained his crew and rowed at number 6, but last year he was not in college. Sprague is 21 years old, weighs 179 lbs., and is about o ft. in height.

Edward Henry Fennessy, 96, of Boston, rows at number 5. Fennessy prepared at St. Paul's School and, like Goodrich and Sprague, obtained his first knowledge of rowing on the Shattuck's. This is his fourth year in teh 'Varsity boat. During his Freshman year he stroked the crew, but the two succeeding years he rowed at 7. Fennessy is 23 years old, is 5 ft. 11 in. in height, and weighs 174 lbs.

Ralph Milbourne Townsend, '96, of Boston, rows at number 4. He is 5 ft. 9 in. tall, and weighs 160 lbs. Townsend prepared for college at St. Paul's, where he rowed on the Halcyons. During his Sophomore year he rowed at number 4 on the 'Varsity Crew. The other years he rowed on his class crew.

James Handaysd Perkins, '98, comes from Milton, and is now rowing at number 3. Perkins comes from Milton Academy and Hopkinson's School. Last year Perkins rowed with the 'Varsity until he was taken sick and obliged to stop. He is 20 years old, weighs 178 lbs., and is 6 ft. in height.

Stanley Hollister, '97, comes from Santa Barbara, California, where he prepared at the Berkeley School. He is rowing at number 2. During his Freshman year he rowed at number 2. Last year Hollister rowed in the 'Varsity boat until within a few days of the race, but was obliged to stop because of sickness. He is 5 ft. 11 in. in height, weighs 178 lbs., and is 21 years old.

George Strong Derby, '96, of Boston, prepared for college at Noble's School. He rows at bow. This is Derby's first year in the 'Varsity boat, he having rowed in previous years on his class crew. He is 22 years old, weighs 170 lbs., and is 5 ft., 11 in. in height.

Charles C. Bull '98, substitute, comes from San Francisco, where he graduated from the Belmont School. Last year he rowed at No. 4 in the Freshman boat, but this year he was taken to the 'Varsity after the class race. Bull is 20 years old, is 5 ft. 10 in. in height and weighs 170 pounds.

Frederick Lothrop Ames '98, substitute, of Boston, prepared for college at Greton. Last year he rowed at No. 6 and captained the Freshman crew. This year he rowed again on his class crew until after the race, when he was taken to the 'Varsity. He is 21 years old, weighs 175 pounds, and is 5 ft. 11 in. in height.

Henry Adams, '98, substitute of Boston, graduated from Groton. During his Freshman year he rowed on the '98 crew until they went out on the river. He was then taken sick and obliged to stop. This spring he stroked his class crew.

John Moulton '98, substitute, of Boston, graduated from the English High School. This is his first year at rowing.

Paul D. Rust '98, of Cambridge, is acting as coxswain. Last year he held the same position. It was due to his knowledge of rowing and excellent coaching that the '99 Freshman crew made such a good showing in the class races this spring.
