LACROSSE TEAM BEAT YALE 2 TO 1

Franzen on Offensive and Crane at Goal Starred for University.

R. H. Franzen '17 was the University's star player in Saturday's lacrosse with Yale, played directly after the close of the intercollegiate track meet in the Stadium. Yale was defeated, 2 to 1. The University advanced to the lead in the first half, Franzen eluding the opposing defence and scoring two goals. Yale tried to rally in the second period, but Crane, who played a remarkable game at goal, let only one goal slip past him.
