Rhodes Scholar, pursuing an M.St. in English and American Studies at Oxford


Kristine Guillaume is a PhD student in English and African American Studies at Yale University. Her research focuses on 20th and 21st century African American prison writing. Kristine completed master's degrees in English and American Studies and in Intellectual History at the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar. Kristine was the President of the 146th Guard of The Harvard Crimson. She is the first Black woman to have held that role.

Why am I supporting The Crimson's 150th anniversary campaign?

The Crimson was a meaningful place of growth and community for me both personally and professionally, and I hope to help ensure that for future editors.
