Harvard Researchers Develop New Technology to Map Neural Connections
Honoring an internationally recognized leader in the treatment of neurological disorders in children, the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Boston has given the University $500,000 to establish a professorship of Neurology.
The new chair will honor the late Bronson Crothers '05, former Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical School. Dr. Crothers' work forms the basis for present-day treatment of cerebral palsy. Soon after World War I he established one of the nation's first neurological hospital units for children.
The fund was made possible by an anonymous gift to the Hospital, which is associated with the Medical School.
