Students to Participate In First Referendum

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The first of two Student Council referendums scheduled for this month will be held at dinner this evening. The vote will deal with Council elections.

The referendum provides that one-third of the Council members be appointed rather than elected, and stresses House, as well as Class, representation. If passed, the referendum would also expand Council membership to 30.

Another section of the referendum provides that a motion may be passed by a simple majority rather than the two-thirds vote now required.
