PRESIDENT CONANT WINS PRIESTLEY MEDAL OF A.C.S.

President Conant has been awarded the Priestley Medal, highest honor of the American Chemical Society, it was announced Sunday. The Society will present the award to him at its annual meeting tomorrow afternoon.

At the gathering Conant will address an audience of more than 5000 chemists and industrialists on the subject of "Science and the National Welfare." The meeting, which will continue until Friday, is the one hundred eightieth consecutive convocation of the American Chemical Society.
