H. M. Coggeshall 1L and R. T. Murphy '33 were beaten in the finals of the national indoor tennis championship by Perrine Rockafellow and Merritt Cutler at New York Saturday by scores of 6-2, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4. A gallery of nearly a thousand saw the New York combination succeed to the title held last year by Tilden and Hunter.
Rockafellow, a former Colgate player, shared the same championship two years ago with another New Yorker, William Aydelotte.
