Harvard Defeats Columbia and Princeton Defeats Yale.

In the opening round of the intercollegiate golf tournament held at Garden City, L. I., yesterday, Harvard drew Columbia and won by the score of 29 holes to 0. Under the new system of scoring the score was 14 to 0. Princeton defeated Yale 11 holes to 7, or 7 points to 4 by the new system. Harvard will therefore play Princeton in the finals today.
