Exeter's New Principal.

EXETER, N. H., June 17. - It has long been virtually settled that Harlan P. Amen, principal of River View Military Academy, Poughkeepsie, will be Phillips Exeter's next principal. He was in conference here today with the trustees and was formally tendered and accepted the appointment. He is a graduate of Exeter and Harvard, of the latter in '79. He is a Presbyterian in religious belief.
